My name is Manoj Pandian, and I scored 68 marks in the 2025 PG TRB Exam. Today, I am proud to say that I have been appointed as a teacher at Dr. Ambedkar Government Higher Secondary School.
This journey was not easy. It involved sacrifice, discipline, and a strong belief that I could change my career and my family’s future.
Before preparing for the Tamil Nadu PG TRB Exam, I worked in a CBSE school for nearly three years.
As many teachers know, the salary in many CBSE schools is very low, and I felt that my career growth was limited. I wanted a stable government teaching job that would improve both my professional life and financial stability.
Since I knew that the PG TRB exam would be conducted in 2025, I made a bold decision.
In December 2024, I quit my job and decided to dedicate myself completely to preparation.
One of the biggest challenges was that I am the breadwinner of my family.
Before starting my preparation, I spoke to my brother and asked him to temporarily take care of the family responsibilities while I focused on studying.
It was not an easy decision, but I knew that one year of sacrifice could change our lives.
Once I started preparing, my daily routine became very simple.
My entire life revolved around only three things:
To avoid distractions, I even deleted all entertainment apps from my mobile phone.
Before preparation, I used to go to the theatre once every week, but during my preparation period, my lifestyle completely changed.
I personally decided to stay away from all entertainment and focus only on my goal.
Interestingly, I never followed a strict daily timetable.
Instead of planning every hour of my day, I focused on weekly progress.

I studied whenever I felt focused and productive. This flexible approach helped me stay consistent without feeling stressed.
During my preparation, I joined Professor Academy in December 2024, the same month I quit my job.
I attended live classes whenever possible, but I didn’t stress about missing them. If I missed a class, I simply watched the recorded sessions later and continued learning.
This flexible learning system helped me study comfortably at my own pace.
One thing I will never forget is what happened before the exam day.
Our faculty conducted a 2½ session for us.
It was not part of the syllabus, but he did it just to boost our confidence and remove our fear about the exam.
That session inspired all of us and helped us enter the exam hall with a positive mindset.
Looking back today, I strongly feel that without Professor Academy and the guidance of the faculty, achieving this success would have been very difficult for me.
Their support, teaching, and motivation helped me stay focused throughout my preparation journey.
My journey taught me one important lesson:
Sometimes, you need to take a bold step and trust your preparation.
Quitting my job was risky, but with dedication, discipline, and the right guidance, it led me to achieve my dream of becoming a government teacher.
