The Alarm That Built My Identity –  Keerthika V – TRB Success Talks

First Attempt Success Story: Keerthika V Becomes PG Assistant

My name is Keerthika V, and I am currently working as a PG Assistant – English at Government Higher Secondary School, Kolathur, Chennai.  I am originally from Erode, and today when I look back at my journey, I feel proud of the identity I have created for myself. For me, identity and individuality mean everything. I always believed that one day I would create my own space in society through my profession.

Today, when people call me “PG Assistant – GHSS Kolathur”, I feel that I have truly built that identity. This success did not happen overnight. It was the result of guidance from Professor Academy, strong family support, and consistent hard work.

How Professor Academy Changed My Journey

Before preparing for the exam, my confidence and the way people saw me were very different. But after the exam and after achieving success, the image and visibility I had among others changed completely.

I strongly believe in four guiding forces in life: Father, Mother, Teacher, and God. After my family, Professor Academy played the role of a Guru in my life. They guided me, motivated me, and helped me shape my future.

They did not just teach subjects; they helped me build my identity.

The Academy That “Rang My Alarm”

In life, all of us run behind our goals. We set alarms, chase our dreams, and keep pushing ourselves. But sometimes we need someone who will stay beside us and make sure that the alarm actually rings. For me, Professor Academy was that alarm. They constantly motivated me, reminded me of my goals, and pushed me to stay consistent in my preparation.

My Advice to Aspirants: Don’t Wait for the Next Attempt

Many students think: “If not this attempt, I will try in the next one.”But my advice is different.

Do not give yourself a second chance before even trying your best.

Tell yourself: “This is my attempt. I will succeed in this attempt.” I fixed this thought strongly in my mind. That mindset helped me stay focused and disciplined. The most surprising part of my journey is that this was my very first attempt. Honestly, I never imagined I would achieve this much in my first attempt. But it happened because I strongly believed that I must crack it this time itself.

My Daily Preparation Routine

Before the notification was released, I used to wake up after 7 AM. But the moment the notification came out, everything changed. I started waking up at 3:50 AM every day to attend the live classes at Professor Academy. That small change in routine created a huge difference in my preparation.

My Subject Preparation Strategy

During my preparation, I followed a very structured method while studying literature.

Prose Preparation

When studying prose, I used to read word by word and line by line. Every sentence matters because questions can come from any part of the text.

Poetry Preparation

For poems, instead of just reading the general meaning, I focused on the inner core and deeper meaning of the poem.

Novel Preparation

While studying novels, I concentrated mainly on characters — who they are, their roles, and their relationships.

Drama Preparation

Drama requires imagination. When studying drama, I imagined the conversations happening between characters.

For example, many questions appear like: “Who speaks this dialogue?” So if you imagine the scene like a real conversation between people, it becomes much easier to remember the answers.

The Power of Handwritten Notes

One habit that helped me a lot was making handwritten notes, especially for characters and key points. Writing things down helped me revise quickly and remember concepts better.

The Importance of Test Practice

Another important part of my preparation was regular test practice. I attended many test batches and practiced using OMR sheets. Marks in tests do not matter initially. Sometimes you may score high, sometimes low. What really matters is consistency. Regular testing removes fear and builds confidence when you face the actual exam. Over time, the fear of the OMR sheet completely disappears.

Final Words from My Journey

Looking back today, I feel grateful for everything that shaped my journey:

  • My family support
  • My hard work and discipline
  • And the guidance of Professor Academy

Professor Academy did not just prepare me for an exam — they helped me discover my potential and build my identity.

To every aspirant preparing today, I want to say this: Believe that this attempt is your attempt. Work hard, stay consistent, and success will follow. If I could achieve this in my first attempt, you can do it too. Want to be the next achiever? join with us Professor Academy
