Paper 1 – Forenoon Session (3 Hours)

TRB Part A – Tamil Eligibility Test

• Common for all candidates
  
• Total Questions: 30
  
  • 20 questions × 2 marks = 40 marks
    
  • 10 questions × 1 mark = 10 marks
    
• Total Marks: 50
  
• Qualifying Marks: 20 (Mandatory)
  If you fail this part, you will not be considered for further selection.
  

TRB Part B – Main Subject (Objective)

• Total Questions: 100
  
• 1.5 marks per question
  
• Total Marks: 150
  

Paper 2 – Afternoon Session (Descriptive)

• Duration: 1 hour
  
• Total Marks: 50
  

7 essay-type questions will be given — you must write ONE in around 300 words

Experience & Interview

• Experience: 2 marks/year (Maximum 15 marks)
  
• Interview: 15 marks
  

Total Marks for Final Selection = 230 Marks

Paper 1 (200) + Paper 2 (50) + Experience (15) + Interview (15)
