TN PG TRB – Certificate Verification- What To Carry?
Certificate Verification (CV) is one of the most crucial stages in the PG TRB 2025 recruitment process.

This blog provides a clear, step-by-step guide on everything you must carry, how to download required forms, and the mandatory rules you need to follow during the Certificate Verification.
1. First Step: Download Your Call Letter & Mandatory Annexure Forms
The Call Letter is the most important document for Certificate Verification.
In the official CV page, you will find three downloadable items:
Annexure 1 – Bio Data Form
Annexure 2 – Identification Certificate
Certificate Verification Call Letter
All candidates, irrespective of subject or category, must download all three.
If you are unable to locate them from the TRB page, the academy may provide a common Google Drive link for Annexure 1 and Annexure 2.
How to download the PG TRB Call Letter:

Click on “Click Here to Download the Call Letter”.
Enter your Registration Number and Password.

It will take you to the candidate dashboard

In this dashboard click on the button:PGA CV Call Letter
Your CV Call Letter page will open.
Your Call Letter will include:
- Your name
- Application number
- CV number
- Roll number
- Subject
- Verification venue
- Date and session (Forenoon/Afternoon)

This document contains all essential information about where, when, and how you must attend Certificate Verification.
2. Candidate Instructions – Mandatory Guidelines
In the Call Letter page, you will also find:

- Reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the reporting time.
- Only candidates are allowed inside. Others must wait outside.
- PwD candidates may bring one helper with a valid ID proof.
- Maintain discipline: No roaming, no loud conversations.
- Mobile phones are not allowed inside the verification room.
- Bring all required documents neatly arranged.
These rules ensure smooth, fast verification for all candidates.

3. Mandatory Forms You Must Carry
The following TRB-specific forms are compulsory:
(a) Call Letter (Original Printout)
This is your entry pass for Certificate Verification.
(b) Annexure 1 (Bio Data Form)
Download, fill completely, and get it attested by a gazetted officer (green ink seal).
(c) Annexure 2 (Identification Certificate)
Download, fill completely, and get it attested by a gazetted officer (green ink seal).
Fill it correctly and get it attested.
(d) Candidate Declaration Form for Documents

This form confirms that you have received back all your original documents after verification.
Each form must be:
- Fully filled
- Signed
- Attested
- Printed and carried in physical copy
Note Keep: All form Original + 2 sets of self-attested photocopies
4. List of Essential Educational Documents
You must carry the originals + two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following:
- 10th / SSLC Marksheet
- 12th / HSC Marksheet
- UG Degree (BA/BSc/BCom/B.Ed., etc.)
- 1. Provisional Certificate OR Degree Certificate
- 2. Consolidated/semester mark sheets
- PG Degree (MA/MSc/MCom/MP.Ed., etc.)
- 1. Provisional Certificate OR Degree Certificate
- 2. Consolidated/semester mark sheets
- B.Ed / B.1.Ed / BSc.Ed / Special B.Ed
- Equivalence Certificate (if applicable)
Self-attestation means: Sign on the photocopy and write your name clearly.
5. Reservation-Related Documents (If Applicable)
Carry originals + 2 photocopies if you belong to:
- Community / Caste Certificate
- PSTM Certificate
- PwD Certificate
- Destitute Widow Certificate
- Ex-servicemen Document
- No Objection Certificate (for Government Employees)
- Experience Certificate
- Transgender ID Card
If the reservation is claimed, the relevant document must be carried.
If not applicable, you can skip this section.
6. Additional Documents You Must Carry
Depending on your application, you may also need:
- Character Certificate – Latest Character Certificate — from a gazetted
officer
- Conduct Certificate – From last studied institution
- Experience Certificate (if any)
- Any other document you uploaded during online application
Keep them in order for faster verification
Original Certificates to be Produced by the Candidate at the Time of Certificate Verification (CV)
Candidates must arrange the original certificates in the exact order given below and submit two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the certificates to the CV Board during verification.
After the verification is completed, candidates can take back their original certificates.

- SSLC Marksheet (10th Standard)
- HSC Marksheet (+2)
- UG Degree / Provisional Certificate
- UG Consolidated Mark Statement / Semester-wise Mark Sheets
- PG Degree / Provisional Certificate
- PG Consolidated Mark Statement / Semester-wise Mark Sheets
- B.Ed. / Special B.Ed. Degree / Provisional Certificate
- B.Ed. / Special B.Ed. Consolidated Mark Statement / Semester-wise Mark Sheets
- Equivalence Government Order (G.O.) for UG / PG / B.Ed. / Special B.Ed. (if applicable)
- PSTM Certificate (From 1st Standard to Eligible Degree) – As per Notification Format Annexure–I or Annexure–II (if applicable)
- Community Certificate (Father’s / Mother’s Name should be mentioned)
- Disability Certificate / PWD Book (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) as per format Annexure–III (if applicable)
- Conduct Certificate (from last studied institution)
- Latest Character Certificate (from a Gazetted Officer / Responsible Person)
- Any other document required by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB)

8. On the Day of Certificate Verification
Many candidates, especially those visiting Chennai for the first time, may feel confused. To avoid stress:
- Check your venue a day before or ask for location guidance.
- Do not arrive late—TRB strictly follows session time.
- Maintain all your documents in order.
- Follow the instructions on the Call Letter carefully.
