The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released the detailed guidelines for candidates appearing in the TNTET Exam 2025. 

 

With the examination scheduled for December 20, 2025, it’s crucial for every candidate to know the exam hall instructions to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.

 

Understanding what you can and cannot carry inside the exam hall will help you avoid last-minute confusion and disqualification risks.

  

  

 

Essential Documents to Carry Inside TNTET Exam Hall

 

Candidates must carry the following items when entering the examination hall:

 

1) TNTET Hall Ticket 

 

This is the most important document. It must be downloaded from the official TRB website and printed clearly.

 

2) Valid Photo ID Proof (any one):

 

Aadhaar Card

 

PAN Card

 

Passport

 

Driving License

 

Voter ID

 

 

3) Black Ball Point Pen 

 

Only a black pen with a transparent body is allowed for marking answers in the OMR sheet.

 

Note : Make sure all documents are verified before entering the hall. Candidates without a valid hall ticket and ID proof will not be allowed inside the venue.

 

 

Items Strictly Prohibited Inside the TNTET Exam Hall

 

The TRB maintains strict vigilance to ensure the integrity of the examination. Carrying any of the following prohibited items may lead to immediate disqualification or disciplinary action:

 

 

Electronic Devices:

 

Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, or digital diaries are strictly banned.

 

Books, Notes, or Study Material:

 

Candidates must not bring any printed or handwritten materials, including notebooks or loose sheets.

 

Bags and Accessories:

 

Handbags, purses, or backpacks are not permitted inside the exam premises.

 

Footwear and Jewelry:

 

Avoid wearing high heels, shoes with thick soles, or accessories with metal components.

 

Valuables:

 

TRB will not be responsible for loss of valuables such as jewelry, wallets, or electronic items.

 

Unfair Practices:

 

Any attempt to communicate with other candidates or use unauthorized materials will result in cancellation of candidature and legal action.

 

 

 

 

TNTET Exam Timings and Entry Instructions

 

Reporting Time: 8:30 AM

 

Gate Closes: 9:30 AM

 

Exam Timing: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

 

For PWD candidates: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

 

Candidates must arrive at the venue well in advance. No one will be allowed entry once the gates are closed.

 

 

Important Reminders for Candidates

 

  • Read all instructions mentioned on your hall ticket carefully.

 

  • Bring only essential items; leave all valuables at home.

 

  • The hall ticket is provisional and does not guarantee selection.
