This update is particularly significant because the examination date has been rescheduled. Originally planned for 20th December 2025, the exam will now be conducted on 27th December 2025, as per the latest notification.
The examination is set to take place across 38 districts in 195 designated centres throughout Tamil Nadu.

Important Update: Discrepancy in Exam Timings
A minor inconsistency has been identified in the hall ticket regarding the duration of the examination:
- Reporting Time: 8:30 AM
- Gate Closing Time: 9:00 AM
- Exam Duration (as per hall ticket): 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

While some sections mention a 3-hour duration, another official instruction indicates a 3.5-hour exam.

To avoid confusion, candidates should rely on the “Important Instructions” printed within their hall ticket as the final, authoritative guideline.
Arriving prepared for a longer duration will ensure you are fully equipped for any variation.
Permitted Stationery for the College TRB Exam
Only black ballpoint pens are permitted for writing the examination.
No blue pens, gel pens, pencils, or other writing instruments are allowed.
To ensure comfort and familiarity, candidates should practise all descriptive and answer-writing exercises using a black ballpoint pen, as this will be used on the actual exam day.
