Exam Day Guidelines - Do Not Miss These
- Reach the exam centre at least 45 minutes before the exam starts.
- Carry your UGC NET admit card along with a valid photo ID - both are mandatory.
- Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, pagers, or any electronic devices.
- Follow all instructions given by the invigilator inside the hall.
- Do not leave the exam centre before the exam concludes.
- Visit your exam centre in advance to avoid confusion on exam day.
How to Use the Remaining Time Wisely
You already have your preparation mostly in place. Now is not the time to start something new , it is the time to consolidate what you know. Here is how to make the most of the days you have left:
- Focus entirely on revision from now until your exam date.
- Solve previous year question papers to get familiar with the pattern.
- Attempt mock tests under timed conditions to build exam speed.
- Check the subject-wise topic weightage and prioritise high-scoring areas.
- Candidates with gap days (June 26–28) should use those days for targeted topic revision.
Remember: Your preparation is already done. The goal now is sharpening your recall and staying calm. A focused mind on exam day is worth more than last-minute panic revision
Admit Card & Exam City Slip - What to Expect
The exam city intimation slip will be released around June 10, 2026. This will tell you the city in which your exam centre is located. Based on this, start making your travel arrangements early.
The admit card (hall ticket) will be released around June 15, 2026 approximately 4 to 5 days after the city slip. You can download it from the official website by logging in with your application number and date of birth.
