The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Advance Intimation of Examination City for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination through a public notice dated 8 July 2026.
If you applied for CSIR NET June 2026, you can now check the city where your exam centre will be located even before the admit card is out.
Here is everything you need to know: the confirmed exam schedule, how to download your city intimation slip, and what to expect next.

With this notice, NTA has officially confirmed the exam dates for all five subjects. The exam will be held over two days in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode:

No. The city intimation slip only informs you of your allotted exam city. The admit card, with your exact exam centre and reporting time, will be released separately by NTA.
The exam will be held on 17 and 18 July 2026. Life Sciences is in the morning shift on 17 July; Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences are in the afternoon shift on 17 July; Chemical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences are in the morning shift on 18 July.

No. Exam city allotment is at NTA’s discretion, based on the preferences submitted during registration, and cannot be changed at this stage.
