When applying for the TN TRB Assistant Professor Examination, teaching experience plays a vital role in determining your eligibility and score in the selection process.
Candidates who have served as UGC-qualified Guest Lecturers in Government Colleges or as Assistant Professors in Aided or Private Colleges must upload a Teaching Experience Certificate in the prescribed format.
This certificate acts as official proof of your teaching service and is mandatory to claim experience marks under the TRB selection process.
Why Is Teaching Experience Certificate Important For TN TRB Exam?
According to the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) notification, candidates who wish to claim marks for teaching experience must provide a valid certificate issued by the competent authority.
This document confirms:

- And that your service was approved and satisfactory
Without this certificate, your teaching experience will not be considered for additional marks during evaluation.
