Sajini- PG TRB Chemistry (94 Marks, State 8th Rank | 25th Position)

 

Cracking the PG TRB exam in the very first attempt is not easy — especially after a long academic gap. But with the right guidance, a clear goal, and consistent effort, success becomes possible.

 

My name is Sajini from Pollachi, Coimbatore, and this is my journey of how I scored 94 marks and secured State Rank in PG TRB 2025 Chemistry, with the support of Professor Academy.

Setting My Goal: Becoming a State Rank Holder

 

My preparation began only after I fixed one clear and strong goal: “I must write the PG TRB exam — and I must become a State Rank Holder.”

 

Once I locked this mindset, everything else became secondary. I started my preparation one year earlier, in October 2024.

 

At first, I prepared using old syllabus materials, but soon I learned that the Tamil Eligibility Test had become compulsory. So I prioritized Tamil and completed almost 80% of it within two months.

 

When the new syllabus was released, the portions were vast and included many new concepts. That’s when I realized:

Self-study alone will not help me achieve a State Rank.

I needed structured coaching, tests, and expert guidance.

• After every class, I attempted the test immediately, even without preparation.
• This helped me measure how well I understood the concept directly from the class.
• Whenever my marks were low, I knew exactly what to revise.
• Reattempting tests multiple times with explanations strengthened my concepts.

I received tremendous support from Kalaivani Ma’am and Umadevi Ma’am. Their guidance helped me handle exam pressure, avoid panic, and approach questions strategically. They even explained:

Their motivation helped me push through self-doubt and stay consistent.

 

 

Balancing Psychology and Major Subject

 

Along with Chemistry, I also focused on Psychology, which carries 30 marks.

 

I joined a separate Psychology course and revised it multiple times.

 

Professor Academy’s Psychology and GK classes acted like double revision for me and helped balance my overall score.

 

 

Leaving My Job to Focus Fully

 

Initially, I was working in a private school. But soon I understood that if I wanted a State Rank, I needed more time.

 

So I resigned and dedicated six months full-time to preparation.

 

With a proper timetable and daily goals, I completed the syllabus, revised regularly, and took every test uploaded in the app.

 

 

The Final Phase: One Month of Pure Revision

 

The last 30 days were entirely focused on:

 

• Full-length mock tests
• One-Day-One-Concept videos
• Topic-wise revision
• State-level mock exams

Scoring 94 marks and securing State 8th Rank (25th Position) in my first attempt was a proud moment.
