To apply for the Post Graduate Assistant in Physical Education, the candidate must fulfill the following qualifications:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in:
B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education)
BPE (Bachelor of Physical Education)
B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports
with a minimum of 55% marks, as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), 2009.
OR
(b) At least 50% marks in B.P.Ed. degree or B.P.Ed. (Integrated) 4-year professional course, in accordance with NCTE norms notified on 10.12.2007.
OR
(c) A 3-year B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. course (or equivalent) with:
At least 55% marks in B.P.Ed.
OR
At least 50% marks in B.P.E., as per NCTE norms notified on 13.11.2002.
A Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) of at least 2 years duration from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
